    Is this peel suitable for all skin types?

    It suits most skin types except extremely sensitive or compromised skin. Fitzpatrick 4–6 may require pre-treatment priming.

    Is there downtime?

    Yes, expect mild dryness, tightness, or flaking for 2–5 days depending on peel strength.

    Is this safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

    No. Cosmo Peel contains active acids and enzymes that are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Alternative gentle resurfacing treatments can be recommended instead.

    Will it make my skin more sensitive to the sun?

    Yes. Post-peel skin is temporarily more sensitive. Daily SPF 30+ is essential, and direct sun exposure should be avoided during the healing period.

    What does it feel like during treatment?

    You may experience a warm, tingling, or slight “spicy” sensation. Neutralising and calming products are applied immediately after to soothe the skin.

    How many sessions do I need?

    Many clients notice visible improvement after 1 session. For deeper acne scars, fine lines, or pigmentation, a series of 2–3 treatments is recommended.

    Can I book this before an event?

    It’s best to book 7–10 days before your event to allow peeling to complete.

    Does it help with acne?

    Yes, it reduces congestion, clears pores, and improves post-acne marks and scarring.

     Beautiful results start with the right care  – here’s how to nurture your skin before and after your treatment.

    Before Your Treatment

    To achieve the best results, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:

    • Stop retinol, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and other exfoliants 5–7 days prior

    • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1 week prior

    • Avoid waxing, threading, or dermaplaning for 7 days

    • Inform me if you are on prescription acne or pigment medications

    • Skin priming may be required for darker skin types

    After Your Treatment

    After your bespoke treatment, skin may be more sensitive. Following these guidelines will protect and prolong results:

    • Avoid active products for 5–7 days (retinol, acids, vitamin C)

    • Expect light peeling, do not pick or scrub

    • Use gentle cleansers, hydrating products, and barrier support

    • Avoid heat, saunas, and intense exercise for 48 hours

    • Avoid sun exposure; apply SPF 30+ daily

    • Makeup should be avoided for 24 hours

    • Skin may feel tight or dry, this is normal as renewal occurs
